We recently completed essential felt roof repairs for the new B&M store located on the site of the former Co-op in Erdington High Street, Birmingham B24.
The Project
Our team was brought in to address issues on the flat roof prior to the store’s opening.
The project involved removing outdated roof penetrations, including old extractor fans, followed by full surface preparation.
We then:
- Installed new OSB boarding to reinforce the roof deck
- Applied a robust two-layer torch-on felt roofing system for a watertight, durable finish
- Sealed all joints and edges to ensure long-lasting weather resistance
This approach provides the building with a clean, strong and reliable surface, ideal for protecting against the unpredictable Birmingham weather.
As always, the work was completed safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.
